Hamilton police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a Hamilton woman who has been missing since July.

Investigators say Monica Chisar has been missing since July 11, but was only reported missing by her family on Sept. 28.

She was last seen by a friend in the area of Barton Street East and Parkdale Avenue North.

Police say she has gone missing in the past, but has maintained contact with her family through social media.

"She has not utilized social media and this is an unusual departure from her normal behaviour causing her family to be concerned for her well-being," a police news release reads.

She is described as white, 29-years-old, five feet, seven inches tall, and 170 pounds.

Chisar has green eyes and shoulder-length, reddish/brown hair.

She also has a small star tattoo on the left side of her neck, a crown on her left wrist, and tattoos on her upper back: one says "Ethan," and the other reads "I love my daddy FC."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
