Dellen Millard farm searched for fourth straight day

Toronto police are jotting notes, shooting photographs and collecting evidence as they continue to search a North Dumfries farm owned by Dellen Millard, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Hamilton man Tim Bosma.

Search warrant related to new information in Laura Babcock disappearance

Toronto police arejotting notes, shooting photographs and collecting evidenceas they continue tosearch a North Dumfries farm owned by Dellen Millard, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Hamilton man Tim Bosma.

About a half dozen officers from the forensics and homicide departments streamed in and out of a barn to work under the glow of a portable lamp powered by a gas generator which could be heard rumbling from Roseville Road.

Millard, 28,and25-year-old Mark Smich,also charged with first-degree murder in the case,are set to appear in court via video before a judge in Hamilton Thursday afternoon.

Burned human remains were previously located on the farm, and investigators said they were confident they belong to Bosma.

Toronto police say the current search, which first got underway Monday,is in relation to the the disappearance of Toronto woman Laura Babcock.

Babcock, 23, had a relationship with Millard, police have said, and was reported missing in June 2012.

Babcock's cellphone records show Millard was one of the last people she called before she went missing.

The search this week began on Monday and has focused on a barn on the property. Investigators have removed planks of wood and all hay from the barn.

Forensics, homicide and drug unit officers wearing protective clothing have been going in and out of the barn.
