Police find, arrest man who removed monitoring bracelet

Police said Saturday they've found and arrested David Gillan, a 46-year-old Stoney Creek, Ont., man charged with robbery and break and enter who they sayremoved his monitoring bracelet.

Before being found in Toronto, Gillan had last been seen downtown Hamilton on Thursday.

The charges of robbery and break and enter have yet to be proven in court, but police say he has an "extensive" criminal history dating back to 1990.
