Tim Bosma trial: Jury hears about Millard texts from night Bosma disappeared

Texts on Dellen Millard's cellphone shown in a Hamilton court indicate he planned to steal a Dodge 3500 truck like Tim Bosma's as far back as February 2012. Jurors on Tuesday are hearing more about what investigators found on the phones of the two men on trial for the 2013 killing of Bosma.

On Tuesday, jurors in OntarioSuperior Court arehearing more about what investigators found on the phones of the two men charged in the 2013 death of Hamilton man TimBosma.

The testimony is covering text exchangesDellen Milllard had withseveral woman he wasromantically involved with, texts about his finances and also texts on the night that Bosma disappeared.

Hamilton police Det. Const. Craig Harrison began his testimony Mondayby showing texts between Millard and a contact named "Say 10" which the Crown alleges was a nickname for Mark Smich, his co-accused.

Millard, 30, of Toronto, and Smich, 28, of Oakville, Ont., have both pleadednot guilty to first-degree murder.
