Police looking for 2 men after overnight shooting in downtown Hamilton

Police are looking for two men who they believefled in a car with a bullet hole after an overnight shooting downtown.

Hamilton police were called about a reported shootingaround 2:45 a.m. on Caroline Street south between King and Main streets downtown.

Police say witnesses saw two men fleeing from the area and a vehicle with a possible flat tire and bullet hole.Police describe the car asa red Toyota Yaris or a similar car.

Investigatorsfound several bullet casings on the ground.

Police didn't know as of later Tuesday morningif anyone was injured, nor what motive there might be for the shooting.

Hamilton police detectives are investigating and hope anyone with information will give them a call or contact Crime Stoppers.
