Ontario provincial police are looking for a large stash of porn that was stolen from a house in Norfolk County sometime in the last couple of days.

Investigators say they got a call about the theft around 2:25 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Sometime between Monday and when the call came in, an unknown person or group of people broke in and stole a "large quantity of pornographic materials," Xbox games, hats, and tools, police say.

"It's the first time in my career I've ever seen a large quantity of pornographic materials reported stolen," said Const. Ed Sanchuk.

Sanchuk couldn't immediately say what medium we're talking about here whether it was magazines, DVDs, or even VHS tapes.

It's possible that the materials are now being sold, he said.

"If someone is in possession of a large quantity of pornographic materials that they didn't possess in the past, we encourage them to contact police," Sanchuk said.

Anyone with information can also contact Crime Stoppers and leave a tip anonymously.
