These Shoppers Drug Mart stores offer COVID-19 tests in Hamilton and surrounding areas

A number of Shoppers Drug Martpharmacies are offering COVID-19 testing in Hamilton, Brantford, Niagara Falls andSt. Catharinesas the number ofCOVID-19 cases climb.

All the stores only test eligible people without symptoms.

The Hamilton locations include the store on101 Osler Dr.in Dundas and the location on2110 Rymal Rd. E.inHannon, past Albion Falls.

The Dundasstore operates daily from8 a.m. to midnightwhile the Hannon shop runs to 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Brantford has two locations, one on320 Colborne St. W.and another on185 King George Rd., both of which are open from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Niagara Falls has a store at 5175 Victoria Ave. and St. Catharineshas a location at 286 Bunting Rd., which are bothopen from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The new spots to get COVID-19 testing come as Hamilton and other regions try to reduce delays while cases increase in the community.

Hamilton has been dealing with a testing backlog that has some waiting for as many as eight days for their results.
