A man who police say fired a gun repeatedly at another vehicle during a road rage incident on Highway 403 has been arrested.

Investigators previously identified the 22-year-old with ties to the Hamilton and Brantford area as a suspect in aFeb. 13 confrontationwhere someone fired several rounds at another vehicle while driving on the highway.

The victim thenfollowed the other driver off the highway and onto the Lincoln Alexander Parkway toward the area of Fortissimo Drive and Connell Crescent, in order to try to get the suspect's licence plate number.

Police say the person behind the wheelhit the brakes at that point, got out of his car and started walking towardthe victim's vehicle while shooting another round of gunshots.
