BC Wildlife Park grizzly bears test secure garbage bins

Visitors to the BC Wildlife Park got quite the show yesterday. The resident grizzly bears demonstrated just how easily they can break into supposedly secure garbage bins.

It's a lesson that 18 trainees of Wildsafe BC won't soon forget. Their teachers were a couple of Grizzlies at the Wildlife park in Kamloops yesterday.

The aim was to demonstrate how household garbage can attract bears. And how home-made measures to secure your garbage cans are no match.

Daybreaks Doug Herbert was there for the demonstration. Danielle Rogers, the Park's Bear Keeper got things rolling.
