Kamloops man recognized for teaching children science

He specializes in "Science Edutainment." For a while, this Kamloops teacher operated out of the back of his truck Now, Gordon Gore is being recognized for the Big Little Science centre with a prestigious honour awarded by the Governor General of Canada.

A prestigious honour is being given to a Kamloops man who never stopped teaching kids science.

The Meritoriousservice medalis a circular silver medal - a prestigious honour awarded by the Governor General of Canada.In Gordon Gore's case,it recognises a life spent turning science into entertainment for thousands of Kamloops kids.Gordon was a teacher for over 40 years.He is the founder of the big little science centre.It started as a passion for interactive "edutainment"that began in the back of his truck.We called up Gordon Gore to offer him congratulations.
