Kamloops mother has family in Fort McMurray
The Kamloops area knows about the danger of big fires. Brenda Prevost lived through the fires that impacted our area in 2003. Now, she is watching her daughter live through the devastating fire in Fort McMurray. We heard how her daughter and her family is doing.
Kamloops's Brenda Prevost is staying in close contact with her daughter after they were evacuated.
Kamloops's Brenda Prevost has been paying close attention to the massive fires burning in northern Alberta.Her daughter, Melissa now lives in Fort McMurray. Melissa, her husband and son have been safely evacuated, but they still don't know the status of their home. Shelley Joycereached Brenda on her cell phone this morning for an update.
