It's hard to forget last year's forest fire season in B.C.

It devastated communities and drained resources.

Now, as the warmer weather approaches, the provincial government has announced a new 85 million dollar wildfire project.

It's called the Forest Enhancement Society of B.C.

To explain how it will work, Steve Thomson, B.C.'s Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural resources, spoke to Daybreak.
