Zofia Cisowski reacts to perjury sentence of RCMP officer

Zofia Cisowski reacts to the sentence of RCMP officer Monty Robinson. He was found guilty of perjury and sentenced to two years in prison and 240 hours of community service. He is appealing the conviction.

It's been nearly eight years since Robert Dziekanski died at the airport in Vancouver.

It's been nearly eight years since Robert Dziekanskidied at the airport in Vancouver.The 40-year-old Polish immigrant was on his way to Kamloopsto live with his mother.

He become agitated after spending hours inside the customs area.Police were called.And he died after being tasered five times.

One of those RCMP officers, Monty Robinson, was sentenced last week for perjury in the case.Two years in prison, a year of probation and 240 hours of community service.But Robinson is appealing his conviction.
