10 to 20 mm of rain for Waterloo region and Wellington County

In a special weather statement from Environment Canada, 10 to 20 millimetresof rain could fall by Tuesday along with record-breaking temperatures, typically seen in April.

Tuesday's high will be14 C.

A warm front with a low pressure area will move through the region Monday night and with it, asignificant amount of rainfall.

The rainfall and the melting snow, as a result of warmer temperatures, may result in ponds of water aroundpoorly drained areas.
