All flood warnings and watches issued as a result of the significant rainfall this past weekend have ended for the Grand River watershed, said Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) in a release Tuesday morning.

However, GRCA said residents in the watershed area should be aware that even though flood warnings and watches have have ended, flows are still muchhigher than normal andit may not be safe for recreational activities.

As a result of the higher and faster flows, GRCA said there may be debris in the river. Municipal staff should check municipal bridges, dams and culverts for debris blockage.
