Guelph police recover stolen bikes with self-storage raid

Guelph police have recovered five stolen bicycles and they want to know if any of them belong to you.

Are you missing a mountain bike with shocks, a sporty strolleror a bicycle that looks like a motorcycle?

Guelph police may have turned up your property after theyexecuted asearch warrant Tuesdayat the Super 8 Hotel onSilvercreekParkway North andTandySelf Storage on the same street.

Police foundfive bicycles that believed to be stolen, bike parts, tools, a small amount of drugs and identity documents on Tuesday.

A 51-year-old Guelph man is facing multiple charges including:

  • Theft under $5000.
  • Six counts of possessingstolen property.
  • Five counts of possession of identity documents.
  • Three counts of a possession of a controlled substance.
