Overnight parking in Kitchener okay over holidays, unless snow event called

The City of Kitchener will ease up its overnight street parking rulesuntil Tuesday, Jan.1unless a snow event is called.

Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic sent out the news in a tweet in response to a citizen who made the request siting no major snow fall was forecast over the holidays.

This year the parking ban runs from Dec. 1toMarch 31.On street parking is not allowed from 2:30 a.m to 6 a.m.
