Kitchener city staff are calling on residents to help choose one of two proposed designs for a new pool in Kiwanis Park.

The city is replacing the existing lake-style pool, which features a gradual shoreline entry and no deep end. One of the two new pool proposals mimics this style, while the other includes adeepend for swimminglapsand a larger deck area for lounging.

Both options include upgrades to the pool's infrastructure andfiltration system, city staff said.

City staff are asking residents to fill out an online or a print survey, choosing which pool option they prefer. The survey also asks for feedback on whether splash pad water features should be added to the pool facilities.

Residents have until Sept.7 to complete the survey.
