We asked: How do you eat your maple syrup?

We asked CBC K-W 89.1 listeners to tell us how they enjoy maple syrup.

Some use it on squash, others on scrambled eggs or there's always the classic: pancakes

We asked you about how you like to eat (or in some cases drink) your maple syrup.

The Elmira Maple Syrup Festival takes place Saturday and we asked listeners: How do you enjoy your maple syrup?

"I use it in squash when I bake squash. I dribble it over pork tenderloin. I use it in apple crisp," Kathy Robertson said, adding she's taking her four grandchildren to the festival.

Colin, 10, said he and his family tapped maple trees in their yard and they also tapped trees at his school.

"I love dark syrup because it's so much thicker," he said.

Marcel said he also likes dark syrup and he loves it on scrambled eggs.
