Regional police investigate early-morning shooting in Kitchener

Waterloo regional police are investigating reports of gunshots fired in a Kitchener neighbourhood on Tuesday morning.

Police saidthey received the call about a shooting around 6:35 a.m. ETin the area of Harold Avenue and Jean Avenue.

The shots were fired into a residential building, police said.

No injuries have been reported and police believe the shooting was targeted.

Police saidthere will be aheavy presence in the area for most of the day.
