Toronto police and Crime Stoppers have launched the Hotel de Jeunesse website, a fake Ontario hotel to make people aware to keep their eyes open for signs of human trafficking at hotels they're staying in.

She was 15 and looking for love and attention after coming from a broken home and living in foster care in Guelph.

But the love she received was from a pimp who fed her booze and drugs and kept her working the sex trade in hotels across southwestern Ontario.

"Mary", as she wants to be known, is the girl's aunt. She told The Morning Edition with Craig Norris, she found out first hand about sex trafficking after fighting to get the girl out from under the grip of a pimp.

Many girls in one room

"We learned that she was being kept in motels, but they were travelling. They were in Niagara Falls, they were in Toronto, they were in Hamilton," said Mary.

"They would book these rooms and there would be two, three, four girls in one room."
