A University of Guelph student is using the social media platform TikTok to promote dwarfism education.

Isabella Lamanna started posting videos on TikTok for fun at the beginning of the pandemic.

She'son top of the latest trends including dancing and lip syncing, but also shares personal videos about dwarfism to educate others about what she described as little people like herself.

"We're the same as everyone else, just smaller,"said Lamanna.

"The whole goal is to just educate others about our condition so that if they do see a little person in public, it's not so shocking and they know more about it," she added.

She's garnered more than 900,000 followers on the social media platform.
