'The perfect princess': girl killed in crash remembered by her family and friends

Aleiya Hellowell-Hall has been identified as the victim of a fatal collision northwest of London on Monday.

A young girl killed in a two-vehiclecollision Monday is being described by her family as "a perfect princess".

Seven-year-old Aleiya Hellowell-Hall died when the car she was riding in with her mother, Meghan, collided head-on with a pickup truck on NairnRoad.

Her mother was hospitalized but has since been released.

Five people in the pickup truck suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The small community ofAlisa Craig, where the family is from, was shaken by the death.

A pair of silver balloons float on the breeze, not far from the crash site where a 7-year-old girl died in a head-on crash on Nairn Road at McEwan Drive, about 10 minutes west of Ilderton.

Family members sayAleiyawas an animal lover and a bird lover and spent a lot of time with her pets.

"Aleiyawas beautiful in every way and beamed with pride at the many loving nicknames given to her including,Weezy,Leiyand Bean," read the child's obituary posted online.

Visitations are set to take place on Saturday in Parkhill at the Box M and Son Funeral Homeand on Sunday atthe North Middlesex Community Centre in Parkhill. The Sunday gathering is open to the public.

Friends and classmates of Aleiya are encouraged to take drawings and cards.The family requested that stuffed bears be donated in girl's nameto the local emergency services.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up for the Hellowell-Hall family.

The Ontario Provincial Police continues to investigate the fatal collision.
