Cuts byCorus Entertainment have led to the dismissal of three radio personalities in London.

AM980's Andrew Lawton, Country 104's Leigh Robert and FM96 host Travis Pelletierwill no longer be on the air.

Lawton was the host of The Andrew Lawton Show, Robert was the midday host and music director at Country 104 and Travis Pelletier was the host on FM96 from 7 p.m. to midnight.

"Yesterday, there were a handful of changes at Corus Radio designed to maximize our content delivery. We believe our new structure will help further grow audiences across multi-platforms and position our radio brands for the future," RishmaGovani, a spokesperson for Corus Radio, wrote in an email to CBC News.

Lawton completed his show Monday not knowing about Tuesday's restructuring, forcing him tothank his audience on Twitter and Facebook.

"I would have loved to have said goodbye on air, but this will have to do," Lawton wrote in a Facebook post.

"This wasn't the end I'd imagined, but know that I have no regrets about the show's run."
