Third suspect charged with attempted murder in summer shooting arrested

Police in London, Ont., have made a third and final arrest in a case that saw someoneshot in the city's downtown at the end of July.

Another suspect arrested in August was acquitted in 2015 in homicide over lost phone

Police in London, Ont., have made a third and final arrest in a case that saw a personshot in the city's downtown at the end of July.

Dean Robert Dickieson, 31, from London, was arrested Thursday in Brampton by officers from Peel Regional Policeand is accused of attempted murder.

Last month, police arrested two other men accused of various offences in relation to the shooting.Mohamed Sail, 33, was picked up in Mississauga, while Londoner Tristan Omari King-Wilson, 23, was arrested in Windsor.

The charges stem from a shooting around 4:30a.m. on July 21. Roughly 30 minutes later, police found a manwith non-life-threatening gunshot wounds nearRichmond and Clarence.

One of the accused, Sail, was previously found not guilty ofsecond-degree murder in a case that shook London. In 2015, 18-year-oldJeremy Cook from Brampton was shot in a parking lot near Highbury and Cheapside trying to retrieve a missing cell phone.

Less than seven months after beingacquitted in Cook's death, Sailwascharged in adrugsand weapons bust by London police.Sailpleadedguilty to one of the charges in that case and was given two years probation and a $2,000 fine.

London police said allthree suspects are being held in custody.
