London police make largest fentanyl bust in city's history

London police seized almost $300,000 worth of fenanyl from a west London home on Wednesday, the largest such bust in the city's history.

Police also seized two Naloxone kits, cocaine and cash

London police seized almost $300,000 worth of fentanyl from a west London home on Wednesday, the largest such bust in the city's history.

Police say guns and drugsofficers with the guns and drugs section saw what they believed to be a drug deal going on in a rental vehiclein the area of Oxford Street East and Adelaide Street. The vehicle was stopped and the driver arrested without incident.

Officers got a search warrant on CastlegroveBoulevard and found:

  • Just over $295,000 worth of fentanyl
  • Almost 37 grams of cocaine worth $3,600
  • About $13,000 in cash
  • Digital scales
  • Two Naloxone kits

A 30 year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both of London, have been jointly charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

The guns and drugs section includes members of the London police, RCMP and OPP.
