Oxford County crash claims life of Windsor resident

A driver from Windsor is dead after a crash Tuesday afternoon in Oxford County east of London, Ont.

Road closures have since reopened

A driver from Windsor is dead after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in Oxford County east of London, Ont.

Police were called to the scene of the crash on Highway 59 in East Zorra-Tavistock at approximately 1:30 p.m., where the lone occupant of a passenger vehicle was found.

A 75-year-old was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where they were later pronounced dead.

Roads were closed on Highway 59 at Braemer Side Road and Strathallan Road but have since reopened.
