3 people in hospital after serious crash in Thames Centre

Middlesex County OPP are investigating after a crash sent three people to hospital east of London Tuesday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to the intersection of Elgin and Gore Roads in Thames Centre at around 12:10 p.m. where a tanker truck had collided with a passenger vehicle, police said.

Middlesex-London Paramedic Service, Thames Centre Fire and Orngeair ambulance responded to the collision where two people wereseriously injuredand another sustained life-threatening injuries.

The OPP'sThe Traffic Incident Management Enforcementteam continue to investigate the crash.

The intersection was closed for some time but has since reopened.
