AC/DC brings world tour to Winnipeg

Australian hard rockers AC/DC are coming to Winnipeg.

The band hasannounced a Winnipeg date for their Rock or Bust World Tour Sept. 17 at Investors Group Field.

First formedin 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, AC/DC isone of thebest-selling bandsof all time, with a total of more than 200 million albums sold worldwide.

They'll be without Malcolm, whohastaken a leave to deal with illness, and drummerPhil Rudd, who was charged in November in an alleged murder-for-hire plotas well as possession of drugs.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m.
