STARS responds to serious collision on Perimeter Highway

A STARS air ambulance lifted into the air above Perimeter Highway on Wednesday afternoon after a serious collision just north of Winnipeg.
The side of a maroon-coloured vehicle was crushed in and its roof was curled upwards after the crash involving at least three vehicles.
The collision happened around 2 p.m. at Pipeline Road and Garden View Drive.STARS air ambulance landed at the scene soon after.
STAR-7 (Winnipeg) has been dispatched for a scene call emergency in the Winnipeg, MB area.

A long line of traffic was sitting several kilometres back from the scene.
The westbound lane of the highway wasclosed from Highway 7 to Highway 8 but has since reopened.
