Blue Bombers sign Jordan Reaves, son of former Bomber Willard Reaves

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Jordan Reaves the son ofWillard Reaves who played five seasons as a running back for the team.

The 25-year-old receiver was born in Winnipeg and played basketball at the University of Brandon until last year.

"We've seen him work twice now, once here and once in Edmonton, and he's a tremendous athlete," said Bombers general manager Kyle Walters in a statement. "All of his measurable qualities were really remarkable, and he did not look out of place even with his limited football background. He's a very intriguing prospect for the future."

The Bombers will play their first regular season game in Regina on Saturday, June27.
