On Friday, Dec. 1 from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.,CBC Manitoba presents Make the Season Kind, a day of programming in support of Harvest Manitoba. Tune in for live music and inspiring stories to make this season a season of kindness.

Harvest Manitoba is a charitable organization that ensures that no Manitoban goes hungry. In a normal month, the organization feeds nearly 109,000 Manitobansincluding hungry children, hardworking families, adults and seniorsthrough over 380 agencies including food banks, soup kitchens, schools and daycares.

Last year, thanks to the support of CBC audiences across the province, $364,559 was raised in support of Harvest Manitoba.

It's easy to get caught up in all that we're missing, but giving the gift of your time is an investment that can make a difference to many.

Harvest Manitoba is always in need of volunteers to keep warehouse operations and food banks running smoothly. If you are able to spare a few hours of your time, Harvest Manitoba can pair you with an organization in need.
