Cyclist killed in crash on St. Anne's Road in south Winnipeg

A 45-year-old man has died after his bicycle collided with a dump truck on St. Anne's Road at the Perimeter Highway in south Winnipeg this morning.

Emergency crews were called to the crash just after 8 a.m. Wednesday.

The cyclist was taken to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, said police.

The area was closed for about six hours after police investigated, but reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
