Downtown Winnipeg crash seriously injures pedestrian
Emergency crews close St. Mary Avenue at Carlton Street after rush hour collision
Emergency officials are asking motorists to proceed with caution after a crash in downtown Winnipeg that sent a pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries.
Police responded to St. Mary Avenue at Carlton Street Monday at about 4:10 p.m.
The pedestrianwas rushed to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
Emergency crews closed off all four westbound lanes on St. Mary Avenue near Carlton and asked drivers to plan their trips accordingly.
The cause of the crash hasn't been released.
