The city saida private water line was damaged. Workers at the city's water treatment facility arenowmanually controlling a waterand feeder main near Marion Streetand Doucet Street.
Any time there is a major change in the rate or direction of water flow in the mains, sediment can loosen and enter the water supply, a spokesperson with the city said.
Discoloured water doesn't poseany known health risks, but the city suggeststo not use it for any purpose that requires clean water.
