Dean Harder, NDP

Harder, 35, was born in Winnipegand is married with three cats.

Hockey resonates withHarder, who played the game for 10 years, and the Winnipeg Jets are his preferred team.

The lasttime he was out of the province was due to a barley council meeting inSaskatchewan.


Ken Werbiski, Liberal

Born in Portage la Prairie, Werbiski is a loyal fan of the Portage Terriershockey team and Dave Wasyliw, one of the members of Portage country band Doc Walker.

He has been married for 27 years and has three sons.

Born in St. Claude, the marriedfather of nine has had a career as a certified general accountant, which is now known as acertified public accountant.

Hemainly workswith First Nationsreserves and smallbusinesses, whichrequires him to travel at least twice a month.

Dondo drives a 15-seater Ford E350, one of the few vehicles equipped to get his largefamily from place to place.

Dondo saidhe's a Winnipeg Jets fan through-and-through who much prefers hockey to football.


Candice Bergen,Conservative

Bergen did not participate in the CBC-Red River College project.

Born in Morden, Bergen is the incumbent for the riding.

She was first elected to the House of Commons in 2008 andre-elected in 2011.

Most recently, she was appointed minister of state for social development. Sheserved as parliamentary secretary to the minister of public safety from May 2011 to July 2013.
