Tardiff's family hopes to turn this tragic event into something positive.

"One message I would like to reiterate is how grateful we are for the kindness that everybody has shown us. The community in general. Strangers on the street, people who were willing to search, put up posters, be supports for the family. Supports from Drag the Red,they offered us their boat. Just in general, people have reached out to us who didn't even know us," Faye said.
