Man dies after pickup truck crashes, rolls, hits SUV in southwestern Manitoba

A 59-year-old man is dead after crashing and rolling his pickup truck near the community of Ninette in southwestern Manitoba.

A 59-year-old man is dead after crashing and rolling his pickup truck near the community of Ninette in southwestern Manitoba.

RCMPwere called around 10 p.m. Saturday about an erratic driver in a greypickup truck travelling on Highway 23.

Officers responding to the callcame across a crash at a bridge along the highway,just east of Ninetteandabout 50 kilometres southeast of Brandon, Man. One of the vehicles involved was a greypickup truck.

Police say the driver lost control of his truck and hitthe concrete portion of the bridge railing,causing his vehicle to roll and collidewith anSUV.

The 59-year-old was pronounced dead at thescene. The people inthe SUV were not physically injured.
