Man, 36, killed in rollover in western Manitoba

A 36-year-old man died after being thrown from a pickup truck during a rollover in western Manitoba.
A man who died when a pickup truck rolled on a gravel road in western Manitoba was a passenger in the front seat, police said. (CBC)

A 36-year-old man died after being thrown from a pickup truck during a rollover in western Manitoba.

The man, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was one of four men in the truck. Another man received minor injuries while the driver and other passenger were uninjured, RCMPsaid.

It happened around12:40 p.m. Mondayon a gravel road northeast of the community ofRossburn.

The driver lost control and the truck flipped. The man who died, from the community of Russell,was a passenger in the front seat, police said.

Alcohol is not considered to be a factor at this time.
