School board gets interim director

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board has appointed Ron Lynch the director of education.

Lynch replaces Jim Grieve, who will leave the board in July.

Lynch has 40 years experience in Ottawa's public education system.

He'll serve as acting director while the board searches for a permanent replacement for Grieve.
