Fraudster sold phantom Jets tickets, police say

A 37-year-old woman faces four counts of fraud for alleging selling non-existent Winnipeg Jets and concert tickets over the internet.

A 37-year-old woman faces four counts of fraud for allegedly selling non-existent Winnipeg Jets and concert tickets over the internet.

Winnipeg police said that between March 24, 2008 and December 11, 2011, the woman defrauded four victims who responded to online classified ads.

In all four instances victims paid between $260 and $730 for tickets the suspect did not have.

The woman, from Winnipeg, faces four counts of fraud under $5,000.
