CBC Manitoba's Harvesting Hope raises $150K for Winnipeg Harvest
Winnipeg Harvest has been in the business of feeding those in need for 30 years
CBC Manitoba's Harvesting Hope, a day of stories and live music, managed to help raise thousands of dollars for Winnipeg Harvest Friday.
As of 8 p.m., a total of $150,242had been raised for the food bank, which hasbeen feeding people in needfor 30 years.
For more than 20 years, CBC Manitoba has been holding a special day of programming to raise money for food banks in the province.
