Drunk driver killed cyclist in Winnipeg hit-and-run, police allege
3 charges laid after cyclist's death in hit and run on Nairn Avenue on Tuesday
A 24-year-old man faces three charges, including impaired driving causing death, after a cyclist was killed in a hit and run on Nairn Avenue on Tuesday.
Two adults were riding bicyclesin the eastbound curb lane ofNairnAvenue, near Kent Street, at about 1 a.m. Tuesday when one was hit and killed.

The dark-colouredSubaru that hit the manraced away from the scene, police said.
The age and name of the man who was hit hasnot been released. The other cyclist was not hurt.
The 24-year-old accused of being the driveris charged with driving with impaired abilitycausing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death and failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving death, police said in a news release.
He is being held in custody.
