Police release images of 'persons of interest' in Winnipeg homicide investigation

Police are asking the public to help identify two people of interest in theFebruary death ofCharles Danny Chartrandin Winnipeg.

Police are asking the public to help identify two people they describe as"persons of interest" in theFebruary death ofCharles Danny Chartrandin Winnipeg.

The 43-year-old was found stabbed and critically injuredin an apartment on Fountain Street, between Logan and Alexander avenuesin the city's Centennial neighbourhood, shortly after 3 a.m. on Feb. 3.

He was rushed to hospital but died.

Investigators have since found surveillance images oftwo people in the area around that time.

They hope someone will recognize the individualsas they may have valuable information, police said in a Thursday news release.

Anyone with video surveillance or information that could helpinvestigators is asked to call police at 204-986-6508 or leave an anonymous tip withCrime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.

Anonymous tips can also be left throughthe Crime Stoppers website.
