Man, 21, arrested in connection with Stony Mountain inmate's death

RCMP have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the death of Clayton Korski, an inmate at Stony Mountain Institution, earlier this week.

Korski, 33, was found unresponsive in the prison's medium security unit on Monday.

Staff say first responders could not save Korski, who was serving a life sentence for first-degree murder.

The cause of his death has not been released, but police say it's being treated as a homicide.

Charges have not yet been laid but are anticipatedagainst the 21-year-old, RCMP said Wednesday.
