Tyndall Park became a riding in the 2008 redistribution of Manitoba ridings and was set as an electoral district ahead of the 2011 provincial general election. It took roughly 60 per cent of its area from The Maples and roughly 40 per cent from the former Inkster riding.

The northwest Winnipeg riding runs between Jefferson Avenuein north and the CP rail linein the south. It's bounded on the west by BrooksideBoulevard (city limits) in the west and Selkirk Avenue, Keewatin Street and the CP rail linein the east.

The riding includes the Winnipeg neighbourhoods of Tyndall Park, Garden Grove, Lord Selkirk and Meadows West.

Its population is 21,455, according to the province's 2018 riding profile(compiled fromthe 2016 census).

Themedian age of the riding is slightly below the overall provincial median, at35.8 in Tyndall Parkcompared to38.3provincewide,according to the 2018 riding profileand the 2016 census. The census found themedian household income in the area is $82,268.
