Missing man last seen in McCreary found safe: Manitoba RCMP

Manitoba RCMP say a 50-year-old man who was reported missing on Thursday has been found safe.

Mounties had asked the public for help locating the missing man, who was last seen leaving his home in McCreary, about 200 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg, on Sept. 6.

On Saturday, RCMP issued an update saying the man has been found safe.

CBC News has removed the name and photo of the man to protect his identity now that he has been found.
