Winnipeg man last seen downtown found, police say

A man reported missing to police last week has been found safe.

The 43-year-old was last seen in the downtown area on Aug. 30, Winnipeg police said in arelease over the weekend.

On Monday, police said in a news release he was found safe.

CBC News has removed his name and image to protect his identity now that he has been found.
