RCMP searching for missing man in Shamattawa First Nation

A man has been reported missing in Shamattawa, a remote First Nation community in northeastern Manitoba.

Melvin Lawrence Redhead, 28, is approximately five feet 10 inches tall and weighs 210 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.He was last seen on May 4 wearing brown pants, a green and brown sweater and black shoes, RCMPsaid in a news release.He was reported missing on May 6,

The Mounties are asking residents in the community to check their backyards and nearby areas for Redhead and any signs that he mighthave taken shelter.
