Warrant issued for man accused of sex assault, known to carry weapons

Winnipeg police are asking for the public's help in finding a missing man but also warning that he should not be approached.

They say Leslie Reid Contois, 42, sexually assaulted a woman on July 15 and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Contoisisknown to carry weapons and should be considered dangerous, police said.

He is described as being five-foot-11 and weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
